Exhibition „MOORE“ by Martina Grützmacher at the Volkshochschule Schleswig

The Volkshochschule Schleswig will exhibit the „MOORE“ exhibition by biologist and painter Martina Grützmacher starting Saturday, 5 September 2026. On display are images and accompanying texts that deal with peatlands as habitats, climate protectors, and witnesses of landscape history.
Vernissage on 5 September
The exhibition will be opened on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at 10:00 AM. During the vernissage, Martina Grützmacher will speak about the formation, use, and significance of peatlands. According to the Volkshochschule, the discussion will cover their role in the past as well as their special significance for the future.
Combination of Art and Science
Martina Grützmacher combines scientific insights with artistic expression in her work. The exhibition aims to open new perspectives on these special ecosystems.
